Hi, I’m Michael S. Fedison, author of The Eye-Dancers.  You can call me “Mike.”  In addition to The Eye-Dancers, I’ve published short fiction in publications such as The Written Word, NEWN, The Scruffy Dog Review, and Iconoclast.

However, as this is a site about The Eye-Dancers, and not me, per se, I just want to use this space to say–I have always loved stories that test the limits of your imagination, that make you pause to think–not only about life itself, but about the very construct of what we term “reality.”  Hopefully The Eye-Dancers will raise questions like this.  Not surprisingly, I am a big fan of the original Twilight Zone–a truly groundbreaking television series that tackled sci-fi themes with intelligence and compassion.

The Eye-Dancers, ultimately, is a story about friendship, overcoming obstacles, keeping the faith, and believing in possibilities.  The four main characters–Mitchell Brant, Joe Marma, Ryan Swinton, and Marc Kuslanski–each must learn valuable insights.  And perhaps no insight they have to learn is more important than this:  Everything is connected.  Events and people that seem so far away, a universe away, are, in actuality, much closer to us than we ever dared to think.
